Efforts to erase voting rights for millions of Black people are escalating across the United States. Since the election of our first Black president, states across the country have passed measures to make it harder for Americans—particularly black people to exercise their fundamental right to vote. We’re taking collective actions and measures by: marching, supporting activists, promoting ballot access, changing unfair legislation and policies.

Our collective impact strategy is to create a space called the Ignite Room, which invites changemakers to join a conversation about the forces behind voter suppression. This conversation is designed to help drive activism and raise awareness about voting rights. Our call-to-action is to engage changemakers to help take a stand against voter suppression.
